Job summary

Bridge Education is seeking a reliable and proactive School Site Supervisor to join a well-maintained school site in Chorley, supporting the day-to-day running of the premises. The role is part-time and long-term, focusing on keeping the environment safe, secure and well-presented for pupils, staff and visitors.

The successful candidate will perform general maintenance, security duties, health and safety checks and liaise with contractors to ensure smooth daily operations within a supportive

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking, facilities, maintenance or similar
• Basic DIY and maintenance skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Reliable and proactive approach
• Good communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the school site
• Ensure site security, including opening and closing the premises
• Conduct regular health and safety checks
• Maintain cleanliness of internal and external areas
• Liaise with contractors and external providers where required
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the school site
