Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee catering and service operations on a part-time basis (27.5 hours weekly, 43.2 weeks per year). You will lead kitchens and counters, ensuring exceptional food and customer service while upholding safety standards.

With at least two years in catering and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, you will mentor teams, monitor KPIs, and uphold the Chartwells brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicate regularly with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
• Support and train teams, leading from the front to help everyone excel.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.
