Concept Resources in Burgess Hill is recruiting a reliable School Catering Assistant to support the primary school catering team during a temporary cover.

This part‑time role runs between 10:00 and 14:00, offering school‑hours work and a chance to help prepare and serve meals while maintaining high standards of food hygiene.

You will assist with food prep, serving, dining area setup and cleaning, working as part of a wider catering team and following all food safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of food and school meals
• Serving meals to pupils and staff
• Setting up and clearing down the dining area
• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces and food preparation areasMaintaining excellent standards of food hygiene
• Supporting the wider catering team as required
• Following all food safety and health & safety procedures
