Job summary

Curo Group in Bath is seeking a Part-Time Scheme Manager to oversee Meadow Court and Minerva Court, ensuring safety, warmth and welcoming environments for residents aged 55+. The role is site-based with 30 hours per week and a pro rata salary of £25,878 per annum, plus benefits.

You will split your week between the two schemes, conducting safety checks, supporting residents with wellbeing and independence, and coordinating with local services to provide joined-up support.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting people one-to-one in housing, social care, or related fields.
• Experience completing risk assessments and developing support plans.
• Clear written and spoken communication with customers, colleagues and agencies.
• Organised with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Good digital skills (including Microsoft Office) and confidentiality in records.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance.

• Helping customers understand fire safety in their homes and shared spaces, including personal evacuation plans.
• Responding to emergencies, calling on colleagues and partner services when needed.

• Being the first point of contact for concerns and complaints and following each one through to a resolution.
• Helping customers set up social activities and groups that bring people together.
• Working with local health, care and community services and raising safeguarding concerns through the right channels.

Part-Time Scheme Manager

Some days you'll be testing fire alarms and making sure shared spaces are warm and welcoming. Others, you'll be helping someone settle into their new home, sorting out a worry before it grows or getting a coffee morning off the ground. It all adds up to the same thing: people aged over 55 living safely, on their own terms and as part of a community they value.

As our Scheme Manager, you'll look after two leasehold schemes for over-55s in Bath, Meadow Court and Minerva Court. You'll split your week between them, keeping homes, shared spaces and facilities safe and well run while getting to know the people who live there.

You won't be doing it alone. You'll work closely with colleagues and local services so customers get joined-up support.

We're flexible on how you work your 30 hours. You could work them over four or five days, with start and finish times we agree together, such as 8:30am to 3:30pm or 10am to 5pm. The role is fully site-based, so there's no option to work from home.

You're warm and approachable and you enjoy getting to know people. You can build trust with customers while keeping clear professional boundaries and you stay calm and consistent when things don't go to plan.

You don't need a housing background. Here's what we're looking for:

Essential:

• Experience of supporting people one-to-one, whether in supported housing, social care, community services or another customer-focused role
• Experience of completing risk assessments and support plans and checking how things are going over time
• Clear written and spoken communication with customers, colleagues and partner agencies
• Organised, with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines
• Good digital skills (including Microsoft Office) and a careful approach to records and confidentiality
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance

Desirable:

• Experience of leasehold, sheltered or older people's housing
• Knowledge of fire safety, safeguarding or health and safety in a housing setting
• Experience of organising community activities or working with councils, charities and other local agencies
