Job summary

IKEA Southampton is seeking Sales Assistants to join a friendly team. You’ll help customers find inspiration, keep the store well-stocked, and create inviting room settings to showcase solutions for homes. You’ll share product stories, assist purchases, and contribute to a positive shopping experience for every visitor.

The role involves evening and weekend shifts, with contracts of 12, 16, or 20 hours per week. A 15% IKEA discount and other benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers by actively approaching them to identify their needs and advising on the best solutions for their life at home.
• Be enthusiastic about the range and curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
• Support maximising sales by ensuring your area is clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.
