Job summary

IKEA Southampton is seeking Sales Assistants to join a friendly team. You’ll help customers find inspiration, keep the store well-stocked, and create inviting room settings to showcase solutions for homes. You’ll share product stories, assist purchases, and contribute to a positive shopping experience for every visitor.

The role involves evening and weekend shifts, with contracts of 12, 16, or 20 hours per week. A 15% IKEA discount and other benefits are offered.

• Support maximising sales by ensuring your area is clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.

IKEA Southampton are looking to welcome Sales Assistants to join our delightful and friendly team. As a Sales co-worker, you’ll support customers by helping them find inspiration and solutions for their homes, maintain attractive and well-stocked areas, and ensure the store is always ready to welcome visitors. Depending on the department, this could involve sharing product knowledge, assisting customers with purchases, replenishing stock, creating inspiring room settings, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for every customer. Whether you’re helping a customer choose products for their kitchen and dining space, organize their home, or find the perfect decorative touches, you’ll play an important role in bringing the IKEA experience to life.

• Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
