Job summary

Farmfoods Ltd. is hiring a part-time Retail Supervisor for a Newtown, Birmingham shop. The role offers 20 hours per week with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours and a pay rate of £13.61 per hour.

You will support the manager, run the shop in their absence, handle cash and orders, manage costs, and develop a small team of retail assistants

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in retail or similar roles is preferred.
• Ability to open/close the shop, manage cash and orders.
• Strong communication and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Be an important part of the management team and support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide a great service to customers.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after and shop routines are completed safely and tidily.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
