Job summary

Farmfoods is seeking an individual to join the management team to run the shop in the manager's absence and ensure excellent customer service. You will oversee cash handling, orders, and developing a team of retail assistants while monitoring costs such as shrinkage, waste, and payroll.

The role values a friendly, reliable, and proactive approach and may involve a Basic DBS check. Previous supervisory experience in retail is appreciated, and part-time hours with growth potential are available.

Qualifications

• Some supervisory/managerial experience in retail preferred.
• Willing to complete Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for running the shop in your manager's absence ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Take responsibility for the control of operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
