Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Retail Supervisor near Newcastle to lead daily store operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will supervise a team, manage stock, and ensure food and health & safety standards are met. The role offers 25 hours per week and a pension, life assurance, and flexible development opportunities.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, be organised, and confident using retail systems and tills. DBS checks and right-to-work proof are required.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the management team with the daily running of the retail operation.
• Supervising and motivating team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Assisting with stock control, ordering, merchandising, and inventory management.
• Ensuring all food safety, health & safety, and company procedures are followed.
• Handling cash, operating tills, and completing end-of-day cash reconciliation where required.
• Managing customer queries and resolving issues professionally.
• Supporting with staff training and development.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.
