Job summary

Routes To Work South is seeking a part-time Retail Security Officer for Glasgow City Centre to protect customers, staff and stock. You will deter theft, monitor CCTV and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

You will work 6am-2:30pm, Monday to Sunday, and must hold a valid SIA Licence with the Right to Work in the UK. The role emphasizes a strong company reputation and professional presence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence and deter theft.
• Patrol the store and monitor CCTV for suspicious activity.
• Respond to alarms and incidents and escalate as needed.
• Complete incident and observation reports accurately.
• Work with store management on security matters.
• Provide a professional and approachable presence.
• Assist customers and staff with queries.
• De-escalate challenging situations calmly.
• Follow all site procedures and policies.
• Undertake additional duties as required.
