Job summary

Delta Housing is seeking a motivated Support Assistant on a part-time basis (30 hours per week across shifts) to provide person-centred support to individuals in daily living, tenancy sustainment and community engagement at our on-site services in Southend-on-Sea.

You will assist with daily living activities, support plans, safeguarding, and coordination with partners, while upholding Delta's values and policies. The role offers development opportunities and a flexible hybrid working policy.

Qualifications

• QCF Level 3 or working towards this qualification.
• Ability to work effectively both alone and as part of a team.
• Commitment to delivering excellence in customer service.
• Understanding of needs, rights, equality and diversity of the people we support.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally, in writing and electronically with colleagues and the people we support.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care and tenancy sustainment.
• Develop, implement, monitor and review support plans reflecting individual needs and outcomes.
• Deliver support in line with policies, procedures, safeguarding and safety standards.
• Assist with medication, appointments and routine operational tasks.
• Communicate effectively with individuals, families and professionals to ensure coordinated support.
