Job summary

Change Grow Live in Warwickshire is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to assess and engage with service users, ensuring they access the right interventions at the right time, in a person-centred way.

Based in Leamington Spa, the role is part-time (22.5 hours/week) with days Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. You will provide screening, assessment, recovery planning and onward referral to reduce harm and support social reintegration.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of substance misuse issues
• Experience working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics
• Excellent verbal and written communication with good IT skills
• Proactive with good time management and prioritisation
• Knowledge of mental health interventions and good practice
• Ability to work in partnership with professionals and stakeholders
• Ability to manage change prioritising service users' needs
• Understanding information governance and safeguarding
• Willingness to learn and develop others' skills

Responsibilities

• Support service users from entry into the service through their treatment journey
• Provide screening, assessment, recovery planning and onward referral
• Reduce harm related to drugs and alcohol for service users and the community
• Promote involvement of carers, service users and the community
• Advocate for access to partnership services
• Support social reintegration and peer support participation
• Design and prepare materials for groups/pods
• Deliver structured content in group settings for service users at different recovery stages
• Debrief and review progress with co-facilitators and identify concerns
• Tailor workshops to service user needs (e.g., anger management, sleep disorders, relationships)
