Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a Recovery Coach for the Northumberland Recovery Partnership, based in Berwick-upon-Tweed. The role supports people across recovery journeys, delivering recovery planning, case management and psychosocial interventions.

You will deliver structured group work and one-to-one sessions, help individuals engage with treatment and community resources, and collaborate with partner agencies within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent, or willingness to work towards this in post.
• Experience delivering one-to-one and group interventions and understanding recovery planning.
• Ability to work independently with lone working and collaborate with partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload and develop recovery plans.
• Carry out triage, screening and assessments.
• Complete risk assessments and safeguarding plans.
• Work with colleagues, families, partner agencies and other professionals.
• Deliver one-to-one and group psychosocial interventions.
• Develop and deliver structured recovery groups.
• Use motivational interviewing and CBT to promote engagement.
• Support access to treatment and community resources.
• Provide harm reduction interventions and maintain records.
