Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for an EXPERIENCED Receptionist to work in the afternoons in a busy reception area. The hours are 12.15pm-5pm, Monday to Friday. Candidates must enjoy working in a professional environment - both on the phone and face to face and also have good administration skills and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for all incoming and outgoing post (depending on hours worked)
  2. Responsible for unlocking/locking doors and disarming and arming alarm (depending on hours worked)
  3. Answer incoming calls and transfer them quickly and efficiently
  4. Greet clients when they arrive at reception
  5. Receive cheques and provide receipts
  6. Manage meeting room bookings
  7. Update absence system with holidays and sickness
  8. Send out self-certification forms
  9. Carry out switchboard and franking machine training
  10. First Aider
  11. Order office supplies
  12. Other duties related to the efficient running of the reception desk, post room and meeting rooms
  13. Assist the HR and Office Manager
  14. As a job share, cover during sickness and holiday absence whenever possible
