Job summary

Teaching Personnel, in partnership with a friendly Blackburn primary school, is seeking a dedicated Reception Teaching Assistant (EYFS) for a full-time, long-term position starting after October Half Term. Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Experience in EYFS is essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of child development and EYFS curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning within a busy Reception classroom.
• Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities.
• Supporting children's development across communication, literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Assisting with observations, assessments, and learning through play.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Carrying out welfare assistant duties as part of the school day.
