Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting a Reception Teacher to work in a three-form-entry primary school in Wolverhampton. The position is full-time and long-term, starting as soon as possible and running until May 2027.

You will plan, assess and mark in line with school policies, deliver engaging lessons, and collaborate with the Teaching Assistant while attending staff meetings. Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Experience in a nursery or primary school setting.
• Recent UK school-based experience.
• DBS via Update Service or DBS certificate issued within last 12 months.
• Ability to provide two strong references.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assess and mark pupils’ work in line with the school’s policies.
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons.
• Work alongside the Teaching Assistant and attend staff meetings.
• Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
