Job summary

New Appointments Group in Thanet is seeking a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk to support a busy Finance Team during a 4-month ERP transformation project. The role is 20 hours per week, with duties including processing high volumes of supplier invoices and reconciling statements.

Prior experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role in a manufacturing or production setting is preferred. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate

Qualifications

• Experience in Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable.
• Manufacturing or production environment experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of PO processing and goods received procedures.
• Experience processing high volumes of invoices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Match invoices against purchase orders and goods received records.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with suppliers and internal departments.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve outstanding queries.
• Investigate and clear GRNI items.
