Job summary

Sanctuary Group in Norwich is recruiting a Project Worker to support people experiencing homelessness at Aviary House. You’ll assess needs, update plans, and act as the first point of contact with compassion and dignity.

The role is 37.5 hours per week at £13.87 per hour, within Sanctuary Supported Living. We offer training, a contributory pension, generous leave, and flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults who have experienced homelessness.
• Positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong organisational skills with good literacy and numeracy.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).

Responsibilities

• Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential.
• Assess needs and update support plans.
• Act as the first point of contact for customer queries.
• Build positive relationships that respect choice, privacy and dignity.
• Work with external partners to boost confidence, health and wellbeing, and encourage education and employment.
