Job summary

Riverside Dental in Norwich is seeking a friendly, professional Receptionist to join our award-winning, fully private practice on a part-time basis. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients and will help create a warm, welcoming environment from the moment they contact us.

You will manage calls, appointments, and records, take payments, and collaborate closely with the Head Receptionist and clinical team to deliver an outstanding patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in reception, customer service or administrative role is required or beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Confident using computer systems and learning new software quickly.
• Able to work as part of a supportive team and manage busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients to the practice in a warm, friendly and professional manner
• Answering telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries
• Managing patient appointments, cancellations and rescheduling
• Taking payments and processing transactions accurately
• Supporting patients with enquiries regarding treatments and appointments
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Liaising with clinicians and the wider practice team
• Supporting the practice with administrative duties as required
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception environment
• Providing an exceptional level of customer service throughout the patient journey
• Handling patient information with discretion and confidentiality
