Sodexo Ltd is seeking a friendly and dependable Part-Time Post Room Operative to join our team in ensuring mail and deliveries are received, sorted and distributed efficiently across the site. You’ll handle mail using tracking systems, provide excellent customer service, and support colleagues and visitors with a positive, detail-oriented approach.

Ideal candidates will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills, including email, Microsoft Office and tracking systems.
• Understanding of Health and Safety, security and safe manual handling.
• Previous experience in a mailroom, post room, logistics or customer service role is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Receive, sort, process, distribute, collect and dispatch mail, parcels and deliveries accurately and securely.
• Use mail tracking systems to record and monitor items, maintaining accurate records and ensuring full traceability.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to mailroom enquiries and supporting colleagues, clients and visitors.
• Follow all company procedures, security requirements, and Health and Safety guidelines, ensuring mailroom equipment is used safely.
• Support the wider Sodexo team with general workplace duties, including reception cover during busy periods, with training provided.
