Job summary

A Gloucestershire-based Housing Association is recruiting a Planned Works Manager on a six-month contract, three days per week. The role interim covers planned investment works across a residential portfolio, with a daily rate negotiable up to £350-£375 via umbrella company.

The position starts immediately and requires recent relevant experience. You will lead Building Surveyors, supervise planned maintenance across kitchens, bathrooms and cyclical works, manage budgets and contractor

Qualifications

• Experience managing planned maintenance or cyclical maintenance programmes.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience procuring and managing maintenance contracts.
• Strong knowledge of contract management and KPIs.
• Experience leading technical survey teams.
• Ability to manage budgets and monitor financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Building Surveyors to deliver planned investment programmes.
• Oversee delivery of planned maintenance ensuring quality and performance standards.
• Review contract variations, assess costs and value for money.
• Resolve tenant complaints in line with procedures.
• Procure planned maintenance contractors through tenders and mobilisation.
• Hold contractors accountable for service delivery and KPIs.
