Job summary

Companion Care in Bolton Horwich is hiring a part-time receptionist to provide excellent client service for pets and their owners. You will greet clients, manage bookings and payments, and support the clinical team with smooth daily operations. Computer literacy and prior receptionist experience are essential.

The role is 14 hours per week (Thu and Fri, 12:00–19:00) with rota-based holiday cover and bank holidays. Location: BL6 6JA.

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist experience is essential.
• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Ability to handle payments and bookings efficiently.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with booking systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets on arrival.
• Process payments and manage future bookings.
• Coordinate day-to-day practice operations using the online booking system.
• Provide information and guidance to clients about services.
