Job summary

Astute Recruitment is recruiting a Payroll Clerk in Pinxton, Nottinghamshire, offering up to £35,000 pro rata for a 4-day week. The role will manage end-to-end payroll for 300+ employees with a strong eye for detail.

You will process payroll from start to finish, check time and attendance data, handle SSP, maternity and paternity, holiday records and payroll queries, using Sage Payroll to ensure accuracy and on-time processing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' solid payroll experience, with end-to-end payroll knowledge.
• Strong ability to manage payroll from start to finish with attention to detail.
• Experience with UK payroll processes and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll from start to finish for 300+ employees.
• Check time and attendance data and agency timesheets.
• Identify discrepancies and investigate issues.
• Process SSP, maternity and paternity leave.
• Handle holiday calculations and records.
• Attachments of earnings and payroll queries.
