Astute Recruitment in Pinxton, Nottinghamshire, is recruiting an experienced Payroll Clerk to join a well-established business.

You’ll manage payroll for 300+ employees, process SSP, maternity/paternity, holidays, and attachments of earnings, and answer payroll queries.

The role is 4 days per week pro rata, with Sage Payroll essential and a strong end-to-end payroll capability. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ solid payroll experience.
• End-to-end payroll knowledge and ability to own the process.
• Ability to check figures and investigate discrepancies.

• Run weekly payroll for 300+ employees.

Astute Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join a well-established business based in Pinxton, Nottinghamshire.

The role:

• Payroll for around 300+ employees
• Checking time and attendance data and agency timesheets
• Identifying and correcting discrepancies, particularly where employees have worked unusual shifts
• Processing SSP, maternity and paternity
• Holiday calculations and records
• Attachments of earnings
• Dealing with payroll queries
• Ensuring payroll is accurate and processed on time

About you:

You’ll need at least 3 years’ solid payroll experience, with strong end-to-end payroll knowledge.

We’re looking for someone who is confident managing payroll from start to finish and can work independently, with a real eye for detail. You’ll need to be comfortable checking figures, spotting discrepancies and investigating anything that doesn’t look right.
