Job summary

Beyond Talent Solutions Ltd are delighted to support a growing accountancy practice by appointing a part-time Payroll Officer in Leicester. You will own end-to-end payroll processing for a varied client portfolio, ensuring accuracy and on-time submissions.

Responsibilities include weekly and monthly payrolls, processing statutory payments (SMP, SSP, SPP), pension submissions and auto-enrolment, and maintaining payroll records.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail essential for accurate payroll processing.
• Strong time management to handle multiple payrolls and deadlines.
• Clear communication with clients to resolve payroll queries.
• Keen to learn and develop payroll knowledge in a growing practice.
• Solid IT skills and proficiency with payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly payrolls for a varied client portfolio
• Manage payrolls from start to finish
• Process statutory payments including SMP, SSP and SPP
• Manage pension submissions and pension auto-enrolment requirements
• Completing pension declarations and ensuring compliance obligations are met
• Processing new starters and leavers
• Calculating holiday pay and statutory entitlements
• Liaising directly with clients regarding payroll queries
• Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee information
• Ensuring payroll deadlines are met consistently
