Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd in Northampton is seeking a Part-Time Payroll &HR Coordinator to join our HR team. The role focuses on delivering accurate payroll for about 350 employees using Sage Payroll, supported by Cezanne HR, with flexible 25–30 hours per week and hybrid working.

You will maintain payroll records, handle starters and leavers, respond to payroll queries, and assist with employee benefits and wider HR administration under the Group HR Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK payroll and statutory requirements.
• Proficient with Sage Payroll and HR systems.
• Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good Excel and systems skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process payroll for approximately 350 employees.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data.
• Check payroll inputs including starters, leavers, contractual changes, absence, overtime.
• Respond to payroll queries professionally and promptly.
• Liaise with managers and employees to obtain accurate payroll information.
• Complete payroll checks and reconciliations.
• Support statutory payroll processes and reporting.
• Maintain information across Sage Payroll and Cezanne HR.
• Assist with employee benefits administration (vehicles, healthcare, pensions).
• Support the Group HR Manager with HR administration and wider activities.
• Handle confidential information with care and discretion.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll and HR processes.
