Job summary

Little St John’s Surgery in Woodbridge is seeking a part-time Receptionist to join our busy team. You will be flexible, highly motivated and friendly with an excellent eye for detail, assisting patients and directing them to the right service.

The role offers 22 hours per week with varied shifts and occasional Saturday mornings. A DBS check and references will be required for employment. Join a supportive practice and help maintain a welcoming patient experience.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused receptionist with friendly and professional manner.
• Excellent eye for detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Flexible, motivated and reliable with DBS clearance.
• Ability to work as part of a busy practice team.

Responsibilities

• To have a thorough knowledge of all practice policies and procedures.
• To work in accordance of written protocols.
• Processing all post and electronic communications on the day they arrive.
• Managing the uploading and downloading of temporary resident forms.
• To manage the waiting list for 24 hour blood pressure monitoring and 24 hour ECGs.
• Any other Administration duties required as advised by the Team Lead.
• Greet patients and direct them to the appropriate service or healthcare professional.
