Rapier Employment Limited is recruiting an Operations Agent for a blue-chip international logistics company in Aylesford. Focused on customer service and admin tasks, you will be the first point of contact in a busy service centre, handling enquiries and ensuring smooth operations.

The role requires excellent communication, organisation, and the ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment. A temporary, part-time contract with pay of £13.55 per hour is offered.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Experience in administration or office-based work is desirable.
• Comfort using computer systems and IT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and handle customer enquiries professionally.
• Be the first point of contact for customers, visitors and colleagues.
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Update customer and shipment information in internal systems.
• Assist with resolving service-related issues and queries.
• Arrange redistribution of parcels when required.
• Support reception duties and welcome visitors as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high service standards.
• Follow health, safety, and security procedures.
