Job summary

Places for People is recruiting a Porter for our London site to support daily operations, security, and a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. Working 8:30am–12:30pm, Monday to Friday, you will assist with health and safety checks, supervise access, and support the cleaning and operations teams to maintain a tidy, safe development.

You will be the friendly face on site, help residents when needed, and report to the Property Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating with residents and visitors in a building environment.
• Excellent verbal communication and professional presence on-site.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid certification if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day site security and monitor access.
• Assist with health and safety checks and compliance.
• Be a visible on-site presence helping residents and visitors.
• Support cleaning teams with tasks as directed.
• Liaise with Property Manager and operations colleagues for information sharing.
