Places for People is recruiting a part-time Porter to join the on-site team in London. The role supports site security, health and safety checks, and helps deliver a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Working 8.30am–12.30pm, Monday to Friday, you’ll assist residents, collaborate with the House Manager and cleaning teams, and respond to incidents per procedures. A diverse, inclusive culture and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience working in building services such as concierge or caretaking.
• Emergency First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience working in a customer-facing, on-site role.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Clear and confident communication skills.
• Basic working knowledge of IT systems.

Responsabilités

• Supporting day-to-day site security and monitoring access as required.
• Assisting with health and safety compliance checks across the development.
• Being a visible presence on site and assisting residents and visitors when needed.
• Supporting the on-site cleaning team with additional tasks as directed.
• Working closely with the operations team to ensure accurate information sharing.
• Responding appropriately to incidents or emergencies in line with procedures.
• Contributing to a positive, professional customer experience across the development.
• Providing information to the Property Manager on a daily basis.
