Job summary

Places for People is recruiting a part-time Porter to join our on-site team, daytime hours to help ensure the development remains safe, well-presented and welcoming for residents and visitors.

You will support site security, health and safety checks, assist residents when needed and work closely with the House Manager, cleaning teams and wider operations colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in building services such as concierge or caretaking.
• Basic IT systems familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day site security and access monitoring.
• Carry out health and safety checks across the development.
• Be a visible presence and assist residents and visitors.
• Support on-site cleaning team with tasks as directed.
• Communicate with the Property Manager on a daily basis.
• Respond to incidents or emergencies per procedures.
• Contribute to a positive customer experience.
