Job summary

Storal is hiring a Nursery Assistant Chef/Cook in Basingstoke to support during periods of leave, helping prepare nutritious meals and ensuring high safety and hygiene standards in the nursery kitchen. The role works Part Time, Monday to Friday, 12m to 4pm, with tasks implemented under the Nursery Cook's guidance.

Ideal candidates hold Level 2 Food Hygiene, have commercial kitchen experience, and are familiar with Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification
• Experience in a commercial kitchen
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing nutritious meals under guidance of Nursery Cook
• Maintain high standards of safety and hygiene in kitchen
• deputise for Nursery Cook during absences
