Job summary

Cycas Hospitality is hiring a Night Receptionist for the Moxy and Residence Inn Slough. You will join a dual-branded, 2-hotel in one building and welcome guests while ensuring smooth front desk operations overnight.

The role requires prior hotel experience, strong communication, the ability to work night shifts, and fluent English. Join a lively team focused on delivering OUTRAGEOUS service in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a similar role in a hotel.
• Strong communicator and team management skills.
• Ability to work night shifts.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the minimum of 2 security checks at regular intervals with special emphasis on security, fire and safety.
• Check hotel guests in and out and assist with luggage when required.
• Serve food and liquor to company standards.
• Ensure all revenue is correctly charged and monies are securely kept.
• To ensure the total cash takings balance with the Opera settlements report and the receipt sheet and to complete the banking according to the correct procedure.
• Ensure a sound knowledge of the local area regarding history, places of interest and special events and where further information can be obtained.
• Actioning of early morning calls at the time specified and to the standards laid down.
• The preparation of Room Service orders and service to the rooms when required.
• Cleaning of areas as requested, removal of all trays from public areas, bedroom corridors as necessary.
• Setting up meeting rooms as requested.
• To attend all relevant training as and when required.
• To show willingness to take on additional responsibilities when necessary.

We put people at the heart of everything we do and are looking to recruit a friendly, spirited, outgoing new Night Receptionist for our fabulous Moxy and Residence Inn Slough!

We are the first dual branded property in Slough; 2 hotels operating in 1 building! Residence Inn by Marriott is an extended stay brand whereby our guests stay for longer periods of time. It is up to us to make them feel at home with our family of associates! All rooms are suites with more living and working space, than you would find in any other hotel room, including a fully equipped kitchen in every suite! Our guests (the Maximizers) want to Maximize their stay and we are here to help them do that, by offering grocery services, complimentary daily breakfast and of course all the places to be in Slough, London, Windsor and surroundings!

#ATTHEMOXY we created a free-spirited place where our guests can do all that crazy stuff they would never think of doing at home, together with likeminded spirits they had otherwise never met, that is why we call them our Fun Hunters! The Wi‑Fi is speedy and the cushy beds are freshly made, but more importantly, the bar is always open and 'the crew' is always on duty to serve. Our crew can do it all! Bartender, greeter, front desk attendant, speedy internet surfing problem solver... all you, all of the time.
