Novotel London Blackfriars in London is seeking a part-time Night Auditor to join our team, covering overnight shifts and ensuring accurate financial operations. You will work three night shifts per week (10.30pm–7.00am), report to the Front Office Manager and collaborate with the Night Manager during overnight operations.

Success requires strong organisational and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Conduct end-of-day financial audits and reconcile accounts.
• Facilitate overnight check-ins/check-outs and verify charges.
• Generate daily financial and occupancy reports for management.
• Act as the overnight hotel representative and assist guests.
• Monitor safety systems and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Assist with the night menu and guest requests after hours.

Job Description

We are on the search for a part-time Night Auditor to join our team at Novotel London Blackfriars. You will be required to work three nights shifts per week between Monday - Sunday therefore, full flexibility is essential. The typical shift times will be between 10.30pm - 7.00am however these may vary depending on business needs.

You will be reporting to the Front Office Manager and working under the direction of the Night Manager during overnight operations.Success in this role requires strong organisational and communication skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently.

Conducting end-of-day financial audits, including reconciling accounts, verifying transactions and ensuring accuracy of financial records

Facilitating check-in and check-out processes during overnight hours, ensuring accuracy of room charges, payments and guest information

Generating and distributing daily reports summarising financial transactions, room occupancyand other relevant information for management review

Acting as the primary hotel representative overnight, ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel in the absence of senior management

Assisting guests during overnight hours, responding to enquiries, handling reservationsand supporting late-night arrivals and early departures

Proactively resolving guest concerns, aiming for positive and mutually beneficial outcomes

Monitoring hotel safety and security systems overnight, working alongside the hotel’s dedicated security team, responding appropriately to incidents, alarms, or emergenciesand escalating issues as required

Assisting with the preparation or service of the night menu and ensuring guest requests for food or beverages are handled efficiently

Qualifications

About you…

• Previous experience using a Opera Cloud desirable, but not essential
• Exceptional customer service skills, communication and time management skills
• A friendly and warm personality with immaculatepresentation
• A willingness to use initiative and strong problem solving skills
• Possess a proactive and resourceful approach with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
