Job summary

Northern Healthcare Limited is hiring a part-time Mental Health Support Worker for Moss Lodge in Rochdale. You will support adults with mental health needs, autism and learning disabilities, providing practical and emotional aid and helping them engage with the local community.

The role offers a part-time schedule, with Monday to Friday daytime hours, and a supportive team environment with induction and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• No previous mental health experience required.
• Willing to undertake training and support.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, emotional and person-centred support to adults.
• Help people access the community, attend appointments and take part in activities.
• accompany to GP appointments, hospital visits and health reviews.
• Plan and deliver Moss Lodge activities to promote social interaction and wellbeing.
• Support people to develop independence and confidence.
• Record information accurately and communicate with colleagues.
