Grange Road Surgery in Bishopsworth, Bristol is seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist to welcome patients, answer calls and support the Practice team. The role covers 22 hours per week across specific morning and afternoon slots.

The successful candidate will have strong people skills, good computer literacy and a flexible approach. Experience is an advantage, and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Receive, assist and direct patients to the appropriate service in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Explain procedures, take new and follow-up appointments, and handle urgent walk-ins when needed.
• Answer calls, divert messages, and update patient records accurately.
• Open and secure premises, assist with patient registration and maintain orderly records.
