Job summary

CitySprint UK Ltd in Glasgow is seeking an Operations Controller to manage courier resources, ensure deliveries and collections meet customer SLAs, and drive KPI-focused performance. The role requires hands-on decision making in a fast-paced environment.

The position is permanent, part-time (20 hours/week) with a 25-day annual leave package and additional family-friendly benefits. DBS check is required for successful applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational, logistics or customer-focused environments.
• Confident communicator who can manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working with KPIs, systems and real-time decision-making.
• Organised, calm under pressure and solutions-focused.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day courier resources within the Service Centre to meet SLAs.
• Allocate resources to deliveries and collections efficiently.
• Monitor courier performance and address shortfalls.
• Handle day-to-day customer, courier and operational queries.
• Keep systems updated (e.g. CityTrak / X-Despatch).
• Support onboarding and compliance of courier resources.
• Plan for peak periods and drive performance improvements.
