HR Partner in Luton is seeking a Part Time Leisure Duty Manager to oversee daily operations of a busy leisure facility. You will guide the team, ensure a safe environment and deliver a high standard of service across day, evening and weekend shifts.

The role offers approx. 30 hours per week on a rolling rota with an hourly rate of £14.15. This position provides opportunities to engage in digital marketing or coaching activities and to broaden your skill set within a thriving leisure context.

Position Type: Part time (approx. 30 hours per week (4 days) across a 4 week rolling rota, including daytime, evenings and weekends)

Hourly Rate: £14.15 per hour

The Role

As a Leisure Duty Manager, you will demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills, a customer focused approach and the ability to manage day to day operations in a busy environment.

In addition to operational responsibilities, there is scope to become involved in digital marketing or sports coaching allowing you to broaden your skills and make a wider impact within the business.

Key aspects of the role will include:

• Running the day to day operation of the leisure facilities
• Supervising staff and supporting other team members
• Maintaining health and safety standards
• Carrying out opening and closing procedures
• Cleaning and maintenance duties

About You

You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

You must be able to demonstrate confidence in a managerial role.

You must have good timekeeping and a pleasant demeanour along with a sociable nature.

You must have a customer focused attitude.

You must have flexibility to work a variety of shifts including daytime, evenings and weekends.

You must have good PC skills.

Desired Attributes

Ideally you will have experience of working in a leisure or fitness facility and previous experience of a supervisory role. Previous use of leisure software is desired along with a sports coaching qualification, first aid training or a interest in digital marketing.
