Job summary

Reed's School in the United Kingdom is seeking a Learning and Development Co-ordinator to coordinate, promote and administer staff development programmes across the HR team, ensuring access to high-quality training and CPD. Working with the SLT and the Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will manage induction, mandatory training and record-keeping, and support ISI compliance and safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual staff training and development calendar with HR and SLT.
• Provide administrative support for staff development activities, liaising with trainers and managing attendance and evaluation.
• Coordinate staff CPD requests, oversee approvals, bookings and budget expenditure.
• Design and deliver in-house training sessions (including e-learning).
• Promote learning opportunities and maintain training information on intranet.
• Coordinate induction programme for new staff with HR, line managers and colleagues.
• Support induction and training of self-employed coaches, tutors and volunteers.
• Monitor mandatory and statutory training including safeguarding, KCSiE, Prevent, Health and Safety, First Aid, Fire Safety and Data Protection.
• Plan and monitor renewal requirements for qualifications and accreditations to ensure compliance.
• Organise and deliver first aid training and assist ISI compliance and data protection declarations.
• Maintain training records across HR systems and Educare and produce regular reports on training completion.
• Act as first point of contact for learning and development queries and support policy updates.
