Job summary

Manchester City Women at the City Football Academy is seeking a permanent, part-time Kitchen Assistant to maintain a clean, welcoming environment for players, staff and visitors in Manchester. You will work 18.5 hours per week with scope to take on extra shifts around the football schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or catering environment.
• Practical knowledge of cleaning equipment and procedures.
• Willingness to work towards Level 1 food hygiene certificate.
• Willingness to work towards Level 1 allergy awareness certificate.
• Ability to follow food hygiene and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen and refectory clean, safe and ready for service.
• Clean and sterilise equipment, surfaces and tableware.
• Receive and store deliveries; manage waste per recycling procedures.
• Assist with basic food preparation under supervision.
• Follow health and safety, fire and security procedures.
