City Football Group invites applications for a part-time Chef de Partie at Manchester City Women’s facilities in Manchester. You will work with the Head Chef and Nutrition team to prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for athletes and staff, ensuring top standards of presentation and hygiene.

Join a collaborative kitchen focused on wellbeing, recovery and performance, with duties spanning menu support, stock control and occasional travel catering.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering meals in professional hospitality or elite sport settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for elite athletes and staff.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you will support the delivery of nutritious, high-quality meals tailored to the needs of elite athletes and staff. Working closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and Nutrition team, you will help ensure food preparation and presentation consistently meets the highest professional standards.

You will contribute to menu development, support smooth day-to-day kitchen operations and help maintain excellent hygiene and food safety practices. The role also includes supporting stock management, reducing waste and maintaining kitchen equipment and service areas.

This is a collaborative role where flexibility and teamwork are essential, including supporting domestic and international travel where required to provide team-standard catering services.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience preparing and presenting food within a professional hospitality or elite sporting environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
• Knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP and Food Safety Level 3
• Ability to organise workloads, manage priorities and adapt positively in a fast-paced environment
• Creativity and attention to detail when preparing and presenting food
• Experience supporting stock control, supplier management and minimising food waste
