Job summary

China Telecom Global is seeking a part-time HR Assistant to join its HR team in London. The role covers daily HR operations, employee lifecycle administration, recruitment coordination, payroll data support, and vendor coordination, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

You will work closely with English and Chinese teams, gain experience in GDPR compliance, UK employment practices, and HR analytics while handling multiple tasks and supporting process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication in English and Chinese preferred
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for HR queries and benefits
• Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding and offboarding
• Assist with recruitment coordination and interview scheduling
• Maintain annual leave records and team budget usage
• Support payroll data preparation and accuracy checks
• Assist with vendor management for HR services and contracts
• Prepare HR data, reporting, and analysis as required
• Support HR projects and operational improvements
