Job summary

CGTN Europe Ltd. is seeking an HR professional to join its on-site HR team in the UK. You will manage day-to-day HR operations, implement practices, and drive a high-performance, quality-focused culture across the organization.

You will work under the HR Senior Manager, supporting recruitment, salary management, performance appraisals, and training development while aligning with UK laws and corporate guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in HR.
• Understanding UK employment laws to prevent risk and manage labour disputes.
• Responsible, conscientious, patient, and able to work under pressure.
• Easy-going, motivated, hardworking, meticulous, rational, with teamwork and strong communication.
• Multi-tasking is crucial and you deliver complex matters timely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain management guidelines by implementing and administering HR policies and procedures.
• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
• Support employee relationship management processes.
• Organise and implement recruitment and on-boarding.
• Administer salary management and performance appraisal systems.
• Oversee freelancer guidelines and practices.
• Ensure effective new hire orientation to embed culture.
• Design and expand training and development programmes.
• Manage Company People HR system.
• Participate in HR procurement procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education
