Job summary

YOURS LINK LIMITED in Manchester is seeking an HR Generalist to lead end-to-end recruitment, career planning, and full employee lifecycle management. The role requires ensuring UK compliance, handling bilingual documents, and maintaining confidential records within a supportive HR team.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of UK HR experience, a CIPD Level 3+ credential, and a Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of HR-related experience; prior UK HR operations preferred.
• CIPD qualification (Level 3 or above) is a significant advantage.
• Must possess the legal right to work in the UK; the company does not provide visa sponsorship.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken); ability to handle bilingual legal documents and contracts.
• Solid understanding of UK Employment Law; highly organized with strong confidentiality and issue-resolution skills.
• Bachelor's degree or above.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, sourcing channels, coordinating interviews, and building a robust talent pool.
• Assist in defining career paths for critical positions and provide professional guidance for employees' career growth.
• Administer all stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation reviews, internal transfers, contract renewals, and offboarding procedures.
• Establish and maintain accurate employee files; ensure all HR records comply with UK employment regulations and data protection standards.
• Oversee the end-to-end performance appraisal process, including notifying departments to submit appraisals, tracking completion, and auditing forms.
• Coordinate induction and skills training sessions; act as a point of contact for policy inquiries, monitor morale, and handle grievances impartially.
• Accurately calculate salaries and pensions for UK employees; manage payroll distribution and comply with HMRC regulations.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the leadership team.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Full-Cycle Recruitment & Talent Pipeline: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including expanding sourcing channels, coordinating interviews, and building a robust talent pool to support key organizational roles.
• Career Development & Planning: Assist in defining career paths for critical positions and provide professional guidance for employees' career growth.
• Employee Lifecycle Management: Administer all stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation reviews, internal transfers, contract renewals, and offboarding procedures.
• Personnel Records & Compliance Audit: Establish and maintain accurate employee files; ensure all HR records comply with the latest UK employment regulations and data protection standards；proactively monitor and stay updated on changes in UK employment laws and regulations to ensure continuous HR compliance.
• Performance Management: Oversee the end-to-end performance appraisal process, including notifying departments to submit appraisals, tracking completion status and scoring progress, and auditing performance review forms for accuracy and consistency.
• Training & Employee Relations: Coordinate induction and skills training sessions; act as a point of contact for policy inquiries, monitor employee morale, and handle grievances or labor disputes impartially.
• Payroll & Benefits Administration: Accurately calculate salaries and pensions for UK employees; manage payroll distribution and ensure compliance with HMRC tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Other duties: Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the leadership team.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 1 year of HR-related experience; prior experience in UK-based HR operations is highly preferred.
• Professional Qualification: CIPD qualification (Level 3 or above) is a significant advantage.
• Work Authorization: Must possess the legal right to work in the UK; the company does not provide visa sponsorship.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken); ability to accurately handle bilingual legal documents and employment contracts in a cross-cultural environment.
• Technical Skills: Solid understanding of UK Employment Law; highly organized with strong attention to detail, a high sense of confidentiality, and the ability to resolve complex issues effectively.
