Syme Drummond Ltd, exclusive partner First Milk, seeks a part-time HR professional at the BV Dairy site in Shaftesbury. This hands-on role sits in a business that values its people and local community.

You’ll work with the HR Business Partner to deliver day-to-day HR support, advise on policies and legislation, coach managers and contribute to attendance, recruitment, engagement and reporting. Hours are approximately 16–20 per week, with a permanent, site-based contract; Tuesday to Thursday

Qualificações

• Generalist HR experience with knowledge of employment law.
• Experience supporting absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance management.
• Strong communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with HR data and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day HR support to managers and handle people matters.
• Advise on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
• Coach managers to develop people-management skills.
• Support absence management and improve attendance.
• Prepare case-related documentation and maintain confidential records.
• Assist with recruitment, reward and recognition, HR reporting and projects.
• Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and forums.
