Syme Drummond Ltd is recruiting a part-time HR professional for its BV Dairy site in Shaftesbury, in partnership with First Milk. This hands-on role offers varied responsibilities, a practical onboarding, and a chance to make a real difference in a community-minded business.

Working alongside the HR Business Partner, you will handle day-to-day HR support, advise on policies and absence management, support recruitment and engagement, and maintain confidential records.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR experience with knowledge of employment legislation.
• Experience supporting employee relations and performance management.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using HR systems and MS Office.
• CIPD qualification or working towards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support to managers.
• Advise on policies, procedures and employment law.
• Support absence management and attendance trends.
• Assist recruitment, rewards, and employee engagement.
• Maintain confidential personnel records.
• Support performance development reviews and training.
