Job summary

Sanctuary Group in Glasgow is seeking a Part Time Assistant Housing Officer to support the delivery of a high-quality housing service. You will work as part of a team to assist with housing applications, tenancy changes and frontline customer service at the local office.

The role offers training, ongoing support and opportunities to develop. You will be joining 9 Housing Officers and several Housing Assistants in a busy team, with a salary in the £13,634–£14,352 per year range pro rata for 17.5

Qualifications

• Literacy and numeracy at Scottish National 5 level.
• SVQ2 in relevant area.
• Experience delivering high quality tenancy services.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and good practice.
• Experience analysing problems and implementing solutions.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Processing Housing Applications
• Providing information to applicants on the rehousing process
• Processing invoices and purchase orders
• Providing front line service to all customers at local office
• Working with housing officers to process tenancy changes
