Job summary

Sanctuary Scotland Housing Association Limited in Glasgow is seeking a Housing Officer to join our team. You will handle allocations, estate issues and deliver a high-quality housing management service, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

You will work in a team of housing professionals, with training and development opportunities, a 37.5-hour week, and a salary of £37,094 per year. This temporary position runs up to 12 months and closes on 12 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Literacy and numeracy equivalent to Scottish National 5.
• SVQ3 in relevant area or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience of delivery of high quality tenancy services.
• Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads.
• Proven experience of good practice in resident involvement activities.
• Proven experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
• Occasional travel may be a requirement of the role; full valid driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high quality housing management service that meets residents' needs and expectations.
• Effectively manage Anti Social Behaviour, Arrears, Voids and Allocations cases in line with policies.
• Meet legislative and regulatory requirements for housing management activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with tenants and stakeholders to improve service delivery.
• Manage complaints per policy, focusing on first contact resolution.
• Update and maintain records in line with data protection policies.
