Job summary

Sanctuary Group in Glasgow is seeking a part-time Assistant Housing Officer to support high-quality housing services. You will join a team delivering housing management support, processing applications, invoices, and front-line customer service at the local office.

The role offers 17.5 hours per week, with training and development opportunities, and a positive, inclusive workplace culture within Sanctuary in Scotland.

Qualifications

• Literacy and numeracy equivalent to Scottish National 5.
• SVQ2 in relevant area required or equivalent.
• Some experience delivering high quality tenancy services.
• Able to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and good practice.
• Experience analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Processing Housing Applications.
• Providing information to applicants on the rehousing process.
• Processing invoices and purchase orders.
• Providing front line service to customers at local office.
• Working with housing officers on tenancy changes.
