Job summary

University of Bath invites a part-time Higher Education Advisor to coordinate a broad programme of outreach activities, workshops and events that raise aspirations and awareness of higher education paths. You will work directly with schools, colleges and partners to support progression and reduce inequality.

You will engage a wide range of stakeholders, design learning materials, and deliver information, advice and guidance on higher education progression, with DBS check and driving requirements

Qualifications

• Degree qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing and delivering engaging workshops.
• Experience planning and delivering events for young people.
• Knowledge of higher education pathways and applications.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding widening participation and barriers.
• Experience developing learning materials.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and working with young people.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Presentation and facilitation skills.
• Problem-solving and adaptability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital platforms.
• Experience of HE/FE outreach programmes.
• Experience of delivering information, advice and guidance.
